Permalink Reply by Christopher Jones on January 24, 2008 at 8:27am: Well my name is Chris, I'm 20, and am currently going to school at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN, majoring in business management and thinking about doing a double major in psychology which I'm hoping will help me in realizing my dream (you can read about it in my profile). I'm also an amateur web developer, I have my own site which I'm trying to earn money with, currently at $4.65, and I'm thinking of starting a group/club down here at Southern for web developers so that maybe we can get some jobs and earn more money through that. I'm also learning the FOREX market and started out with $9.51 and now have $9.40, I've earned $0.55 through trades and $0.07 in interest and lost about $0.80 through trades making the total P/L about -$0.18, which hopefully will become positive very soon. Umm...that's about it as far as what I'm doing right now, as for what I want to do in life read my profile, my interests are music (singing, playing guitar and piano), sports, board games (my favorite is the game of Go), making money, writing articles for my site, traveling, hanging out with friends, but most of learning (I want to be the best that I can be at whatever I do). Not too much, just living. Breathing. I should do a lot more though. Refer to the next question.

What do I want to do in life? To experience it. =D
At the moment, I am learning Japanese. My motivation behind it seems a little selfish, seeing that I only learn out of self-interest. I don't know what I'm going to do with it. I also want to travel the world, visit the moon, go to place where there is only an inky black sky scattered with stars, dive to the depths of the deepest oceans, write a book, paint a dream, positively affect lives by doing well in what I want to do, learn how to stop discriminating, restrain from being prejudice, and as you can see, it is a variety of experiences. But, I have yet to maintain that constant stream of excitement to keep me interested in one subject for a long time.

Let's be friends! =) I think I need to expand my world, get to know people, open my mind. ^_^; ▶ Reply to This

Dustin and I have been friends since our sophomore year in high school. He always call me "Newgen" but my last name is actually Nguyen. One time a substitute pronounced it as Newgen and it became my nickname. I am a really shy guy and quiet guy. Right now, I am pursuing a school psychologist degree and working part-time as a community health educator. In future, I hope that I will make enough money to take care of myself and spend my summer vacation traveling and helping to rebuild my country.

I am from the diverse area of Sacramento and meeting new colors from time to time. A lot of yellow though :D
I live my life, trying to give it all I got and make it last. Sometimes I stop and give up, that's where music comes in to make me happy again! Food helps too.. and more food... I mean friends. :D
What I want to do in life.. I have to say I always wanted to cosplay. Why are all the anime girls so skinny or curvy? Chun-Li is the only one I can cosplay for now (Her bust is a bit big though...), and I'm hoping I'd be able to dress up as her during Halloween... 9 months from now. Hey I think ahead (sometimes) ;D
I also want to learn another language to become TRilingual! Most possibly Mandarin... it's starting to become a universal language O: Maybe I should become more fluent in Vietnamese, too.
I also want to travel the world to try out all the food.. especially the spicy food :D

I also hope someday... I stop being such a turtle and get out of her shell. But if you invade I can be such a "open book" ;D; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Annie on January 24, 2008 at 5:26pm: hello, chao, bonjour, hola, aloha, ahnyounghasayyo!!! you see? i can greet you in many languages, english, vietnamese, french, spanish, hawaii, korean...which mean I don't care what language you speak, which skin color you have, what race you are, or what kind of traditional clothes you wear, or if you eat burrito/kimchi/curry/hamburger/soy sauce with rice/cererals at night, i'll still make friends with you! don't ever let anyone who put you down through your race, skin color, or your accents...we're here for each others and for me personally, i don't count anyone out...

about me...most pple know me well think im weird, goofy, slow, confusing, but at the same times they think that i'm pretty cool, more like comfortable around with, very easy going, and funny...i dont look funny (maybe), don't act funny, but sometimes some phrases i say make pple laugh....

anyway, dont leave Oneria yet because there are some cute, talented, and smart guys here !!!
