Updates for Nai 2
Bad news first. I didn't get the job at Michaels. Oh well. That's that. For the explanation, take a wonderful dive down to my Myspace (http://www.myspace.com/nainaismiles) and click the blog "It's July 4th" or something like that. I don't remember. Haha.
Nonetheless, I've recently escaped from a mental trap of my own. But what's stupid is I keep crawling back to the pit that I climbed out. Metaphorically speaking, of course. I don't know; perhaps it's the comfort of the hole, the high walls that protect me from the outside, although simultaneously limiting my growth from the inside.
The good news -- the trips coming up. The strangely cool wind on a hot summer day. Talking to people who care. Otter pops, barbeques, unintentional spelling and grammar errors, sarcasm, mediocre DDR play, karaoke into the night, books, music from the past, re-addiction (a.k.a healthy obsession), the pool at Kae's apartment, the amusement at the fact that friends of mine called my sister by her familial name, playing water "beachball", shamelessly beating people who challenge me on Wii Tennis (in your face, Jovian! haha, just kidding), reading old books, watching old movies, eating delicious food, chillin' at Old Sac, eating overpriced saltwater taffy, making memories, grilling clothes, birthday parties, blowdrying underpants, late night ventures to 7/11 for free slurpees, excessive hours on a useless game, early morning chats complaining, faux football playing, basketball, naps, the occasional struggle to find comfort, the await of a new haircut, and the arrival of convenient hair removal -- the epilator.
At this point, I need two more hours of sleep. So good day to all! I must nap!
